Hewlett Packard

Our place is located at 31 Villupuram Main Road, right here in Pondicherry. It’s a pretty straightforward spot to find since it’s on one of the main roads heading out of town. We’ve been at this address for several years now, and most people in the neighborhood know our Hewlett Packard sign. The office isn't anything like those big glass buildings you see in the movies. It’s a practical, local space where we get our work done every day. We have a small crew of folks who have been together for a long time. We aren't really about the corporate polish or the marketing talk. We just show up in the morning, open the shutters, and start on whatever tasks are waiting for us. The traffic on the main road can be a bit much sometimes, but inside it’s usually quiet enough to think. We don't have any big mission statements hanging on the walls. Instead, we just have a calendar and a few photos of our families. It’s a simple environment. We take our breaks together and talk about normal things like the weather or what's happening in the city. Pondicherry is a nice place to work, even when it gets really hot. We just keep the fans going and stay busy. We don't try to impress anyone with fancy words. We’re just a group of people working at number 31, trying to do a decent job day in and day out. It's not glamorous, but it is our daily reality.
