Our office for Hermanmiller India Pvt Ltd is over on Cunningham Road, specifically at Safina Towers on the 4th Cross. Being right near the BMW showroom makes it easy to give directions to people who haven't visited us before. It is a pretty central spot in the city, so there is always a lot of activity outside. Inside, we have our desks and chairs set up, and we just go through the daily routine of managing orders and talking to clients. It’s a lot of emails and phone calls, really. The team here is small enough that we all know each other well. We don't have a lot of formal rules about how things look, as long as the work gets finished. Sometimes the elevators in the tower are slow, so we end up waiting around and chatting about our weekends. Cunningham Road is great for lunch, though it can be a bit pricey. We usually just bring our own food and eat together in the break area. It’s a decent place to work, even if the traffic on the way here is a headache most mornings. We focus on the furniture and the logistics of getting it to where it needs to go. There isn't any magic to it, just a lot of coordination and making sure we don't lose track of the details.
