You can find us on Kanakapura Main Road in the Jaraganahalli part of Halasuru. The shop number is 98. It is a mix of two things here—stationery and telecom. So, you might see a kid buying a notebook and an adult asking about their phone bill at the same time. It makes the day go by fast because there is always something different to do. I have shelves filled with pens, paper, and school supplies on one side. On the other side, I have the mobile stuff and recharge vouchers. It is a bit cramped, especially when we get a delivery of new notebooks or binders. I usually have to stack them on the floor for a while until I can find space. The main road is very noisy with all the buses going past, so we have to talk quite loud sometimes. My wife helps me out in the evenings when the school kids come by after their classes. We have been here for a good while and the people in the building next door are like family. It is a simple life, running the shop and making sure we have enough of the basic things people need. Sometimes the pens leak or the internet for recharges goes down, but we just deal with it as it comes. It is what it is, and we stay here until the shutters go down at night.
