Heavens Paying Guest

Heavens Paying Guest is located at 117 C V Raman Nagar on Paud Road. This is a house where we have several rooms for people who are working or studying nearby and need a place to stay. It is not like a hotel; it is more like a shared home. We have bunk beds in some rooms and single beds in others. Every morning, the kitchen gets busy because we prepare the daily meals for everyone. The smell of dal and rice usually fills the hallways by noon. We spend a lot of time cleaning the common areas and making sure the water tanks are full. There is a small courtyard where people can hang their laundry, and it usually has a lot of clothes drying in the sun. The building is an older one, so we are always fixing a leaky tap or painting a wall that has gotten scuffed. We have a simple register at the entrance where everyone signs in and out. It’s a quiet neighborhood for the most part, except for the birds in the morning. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who look after the cooking and the bills. People stay with us because it is convenient and the food is like what they get at home. We try to keep things peaceful so everyone can get a good night's sleep after their long day at work.
