You can find us over at 46 Ejipura, right on the second floor of Neeta Chembar. We’re in that building called Kalyani Nilayam, which is easy to spot since it’s so close to the bus stop. Being on the second floor means we get to see the traffic and people waiting for their buses all day long. It’s a fairly straightforward office where we handle home loans. People come in with folders full of documents, looking to figure out how to buy a house or a flat. We spend a lot of time going through papers and explaining the different steps. It’s not always the fastest process because banks have a lot of rules, but we try to keep it moving. Sometimes it gets quite crowded in the waiting area, especially on Monday mornings or late Friday afternoons. We have a few desks set up and some chairs for people to sit while they wait their turn. The noise from the street comes in through the windows, but it’s mostly just the usual sounds of Ejipura. We don’t have any big signs or flashy stuff, just a place to sit down and talk about money and houses. Most of us have been working here for a bit, so we know the regular faces from the neighborhood. It’s a busy life, but it’s good to help someone finally get the keys to their own place after all the waiting.
