Harayana Handloom

We spend most of our days here on Horamavu Main Road, right next to the Munireddy Kalyana Mantapa. It gets pretty busy around here when there is a wedding at the hall, and people often wander into Harayana Handloom just to look around while they wait. We have been in this spot at 15 Koramangala VI Bk 6th Cross for a while now. The shop is filled with different fabrics and bedsheets. Sometimes the stacks get a bit messy when it is a busy Saturday. We don’t have fancy displays or anything like that. It is just a regular shop where we try to keep things organized on the 10th Main. There’s usually a bit of dust from the road because the door stays open most of the day to let people see what we have. We usually have tea around four in the evening. Most of the people who come in are from the neighborhood. They know us by name and we know what they like for their homes. Sometimes the lights flicker when the power is acting up, but we just keep going. It isn't a huge place, but it keeps us busy from morning until we close up at night. We just try to help people find a good curtain or a towel without making a big fuss about it. The 6th cross area is home to us now and we like the rhythm of the street.
