Hamza Steels

Our shop Hamza Steels sits right at 15 Padarayanapura Hanuman Road and it has been a fixture of this street for years. The road outside is always crowded with bikes and people walking by which makes unloading the heavy steel pipes a bit of a challenge sometimes. We have a small team here and most of us have been working together for a long time now. The workspace is tight and filled with the smell of iron and cutting oil. We spend the day measuring out lengths of steel and making sure the cuts are straight enough for whatever the customer is building. It is loud when the saws are running and we usually have to shout to hear each other over the noise. Hanuman Road is a busy place so there is always something happening outside our door. We don't have a website or any fancy brochures to show people because most folks just walk in and tell us what they need. Some days are slow and we just tidy up the racks or check the inventory. Other days everyone shows up at once and it gets a bit chaotic with the noise and the dust. We just do our work and go home tired. The metal gets cold in the winter months and burns your hands in the summer but that is just the way steel business works in a place like this.
