Guru Steel & Engineering Co

Our shop is located at 14 & 16 Kasturba Road, right where the SP Road Cross meets Green Lane. We go by Guru Steel & Engineering Co. It is a bit of a maze around this area with all the narrow lanes and turns, but we have been in this specific spot for many years. The building itself is old and made of heavy stone, which actually suits the type of steel work we do every day. It is often very noisy here with the sound of metal being moved and cut. We ended up taking two units next to each other because we just needed more space as the business grew. It is definitely not the cleanest job in the world, so there is usually some grease and metal dust on the floor. We don't mind it much though. People around here know us for being pretty down-to-earth. We do not bother with fancy brochures or any of that marketing stuff. If you need something made of steel or have some engineering problem to solve, you just walk in and ask us. The SP Road Cross area is always full of life and trade. Sometimes it is hard to find a spot to park a bike near Green Lane, so most people just walk over from the main road. We have a small wooden desk near the front where we keep our books and papers. It is mostly just us and a couple of local helpers working throughout the week.
