Guru Consulting

We are tucked away on the third floor over in Kamakshi Palya. It’s on the 5th Cross of 4th Main. The climb up the stairs is good exercise since we don't have an elevator. Our space is pretty basic. We have some desks, a few chairs, and a lot of filing cabinets. We do consulting work, which involves a lot of talking and giving advice to people who come in. It’s not a flashy job, but it keeps us busy. We see all sorts of people walking through our door. Some are stressed, some are just looking for a bit of guidance. We try to listen and offer what we know from our years of doing this. The neighborhood can get a bit noisy with the local traffic, but we don't mind it much. We usually have the radio playing quietly in the background. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the city. We just want to do a decent job for the folks who find their way to our office. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon to take a break. It’s a simple setup. We’ve been in this building for a long time now, so the walls have a few scuffs. We don't worry about that too much. As long as the work gets done and people are satisfied, we’re happy. It’s just us, working away on the third floor. It gets a bit hot in summer, but we have a good fan.
