Green Woods Restaurant

Green Woods Restaurant is at No.48/3 on Bannerghatta Road. We are situated after the Gottigere area in Basavanapura. It’s on the way out of Bangalore, so it’s a bit more open than the city center. We like it out here. We have a bit of a garden and some trees, which is why we picked the name. It’s a place for people who are driving by or for the families who live in the new apartments around Basavanapura. We aren't part of any big company or chain. It’s just us. We opened this place because we liked the idea of a quiet spot to eat. It’s not always quiet, though. On weekends, it gets quite busy with people heading out on trips. We serve standard food. We don't have any secret recipes or anything like that. We just use fresh stuff we get from the local vendors. The building is simple, nothing fancy. We have a small staff and most of them have been with us since the start. We don't have a mission statement or a fancy philosophy. We just want to keep the place running and make sure the food is hot when it hits the table. That’s plenty of work for us. If you’re driving down Bannerghatta Road, look for the sign near Basavanapura. We’re usually around and happy to see you.
