About Grace Collections – Art & Craft in Bengaluru
We've been here on Obaiah Lane for a good while now. It’s a busy little spot in Basaveshwara Nagar, right at the 2nd Cross, door number 24. Most days it’s just us working through things, making sure everything is in its place. We started Grace Collections because we wanted something of our own. It’s not a huge place, but it keeps us busy from morning till evening. Sometimes the neighbors drop by for a chat, which makes the day go faster. We handle a lot of different items here. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when new stock comes in, but we manage. You know how it is in these lanes, parking can be a bit tricky if you aren't careful. We try to keep things organized but sometimes paperwork piles up on the desk. That's just how a small business goes. People around here know us by name, which is nice. We don't really do much advertising, just word of mouth mostly. If you walk down the 2nd Cross, you'll see our sign. It’s nothing fancy. Just a place where we do our work and try to be helpful to whoever walks through the door. The weather gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fan running high. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. New buildings coming up, old ones going down. But we’re still here at number 24, doing what we do every day. It’s quiet work, but it suits us fine. There is usually a stray cat that hangs around the entrance, and we give it some milk now and then.
