Gopi

Our place is over in Okalipuram, specifically at No 141 on the 5th Cross of 5th Main Road. It’s right across from Indhuja Garments, so that’s the easiest way to find us if you’re wandering around the neighborhood. Bangalore is big, but this little corner of Okalipuram feels like home to us. The name on the door just says Gopi. We’ve been operating out of this building for a long time. It’s an old-school kind of place. We don't have fancy carpets or a receptionist at a marble desk. It’s just us working at our desks, surrounded by the stuff we need for the day. The street outside can get quite noisy with all the garment work and traffic, but we’re used to it by now. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just life in the city. We do our work, we talk to our neighbors, and we go home. There isn't any big mystery to what we do. We just try to be consistent. People know where to find us if they need something. We’ve stayed in this spot because it makes sense for us. The commute isn't too bad and the rent is fair. We’ve seen businesses come and go on 5th Main, but Gopi is still here. We just take things one day at a time and try to keep our records straight. It’s a simple way to live and work without making things too complicated.
