Golden Enterprises

Golden Enterprises is tucked away in Banashankari 2nd Stage on S V Road, specifically at number 50/A. It’s an old building, but it does the job for what we do every day. We mostly deal with general supplies that people in the neighborhood need for their own small projects or shops. The shelves are packed pretty tight, and sometimes it takes me a minute to find exactly where I put a specific box of hardware. I’ve been working here for years and the layout makes sense to me, even if it looks a bit messy to someone walking in for the first time. We don't have a big flashy entrance, just a metal door and a small desk where I keep the ledger. Most of our customers are regulars who live just a few streets away. We talk about the weather or the local news while I tally up their totals on an old calculator that has sticky buttons. The S V Road area is usually busy with scooters, so it’s never really quiet here. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we’d rather keep things simple and practical. Sometimes the delivery truck gets stuck in the narrow lane, and we all have to go out and help move things quickly so the traffic doesn't back up too far. It’s just how it goes in this part of town. We open up early and stay until the streetlights come on. It’s a steady pace and we don't try to be anything we’re not.
