If you find yourself on Jayanagar 3rd Cross, you’ll likely see our sign at number 278. Globe Telecom has been part of this street for a good bit of time. It’s a narrow shop, packed with all kinds of mobile accessories, chargers, and those small things people always seem to lose. We handle a lot of recharges and bill payments for the locals. Jayanagar is a nice area, quite green compared to the rest of the city, and the people around here are mostly regulars we see every week. We don't do much fancy advertising because word of mouth usually brings people in. If a phone screen is cracked or the battery isn't holding a charge, people bring it to us to see if it can be saved. Sometimes we can fix it right there, other times it takes a few days to get the parts. It gets quite busy in the evenings when everyone is finishing work. We just sit behind the glass counter and help whoever walks in. It’s a lot of talking and explaining how different plans work. The shop is small, so it gets a bit cramped when three or four customers are inside at once. But that’s just how it is. We keep the fan running and keep working through the afternoon heat. Most of the time, the street outside is noisier than we are inside.
