Global Macmilan Products

You can find us at 1166/6, 5th B Cross, on the first floor. We are right on Dr Rajkumar Road in Prakash Nagar. It’s a great landmark because everyone knows the Rajarajeswari Kalyan Mantapa, and we are directly opposite that. Global Macmilan Products has been in this building for some time now. Being on the first floor is convenient because we don’t have to deal with too many stairs, but we still get a good view of the street life below. Dr Rajkumar Road is always busy, so there’s a constant hum of traffic. The office is a bit of a mix of things; we have our storage in one corner and the desks in another. It’s not a huge space, but it works for what we need. The light in the afternoon is quite bright, so we usually have to pull the curtains. There’s a lot of walking back and forth between the desks and the storage area. We have a small area for making tea and coffee, which gets a lot of use. Sometimes the noise from weddings or events at the Kalyan Mantapa across the road can be quite loud, especially the music, but it makes the day a bit more interesting. We’re just a group of people trying to keep things moving and get the orders out on time. It’s a busy life in Prakash Nagar but we like it well enough. We just get through the work every day.
