Global Furnitures

Global Furnitures is situated at 9 1 Shivaji Nagar, right on Lady Curzon Road. We are directly opposite the Bowring Hospital Road, which is a very busy intersection. If you have ever been to Shivaji Nagar, you know how much energy and movement there is at all times. Our shop is right in the middle of it all. We have sofas, beds, and dining sets packed into the space. Because we are on Lady Curzon Road, there is a constant stream of cars and buses going past our door. It gets quite loud, and sometimes the dust from the road settles on the furniture, so we spend a lot of time cleaning things off. People come in from the hospital area or after shopping in the market nearby. We don't have a polished corporate vibe here; it's a place where we move furniture around to show you how it looks and talk about what might fit in your house. The building is a bit old, and the stairs are narrow, but we manage to get even the big pieces in and out somehow. It’s a lot of physical work, especially when the weather is humid. We’ve been here long enough to know most of the other shopkeepers on the street. It is just a regular shop in a very busy part of town. We usually close up once the sun goes down and the traffic starts to thin out just a little bit.
