You can find us at 76/77 in the Aruna Complex, which is right on J.C. Road. It’s a very busy part of town, and the traffic noise never really stops. We are tucked behind the Bharat Petroleum bunk, which is a good landmark because the complex itself can be a bit confusing with all the different doors and signs. At Global Bearing & Tools Co., our shelves are pretty much packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of metal parts and heavy boxes. It’s a bit dusty, and your hands usually end up with some grease on them if you stay long enough. We spend most of our time hunting through the racks to find specific tools for people who come in looking for something very particular. There isn't a lot of space to walk around, but we know where everything is tucked away. The light isn't the best in the back of the shop, so we use a torch sometimes to read the small numbers on the bearings. It’s just me and a couple of others handling the counter and the phone calls. We eat our lunch at the back desk when there is a quiet moment, which doesn't happen often during the week. It’s a lot of lifting and counting, but it’s a steady rhythm that we’ve gotten used to over the years here in the complex.
