Global Access

Global Access is tucked away right on the Domlur Service Road. If you miss the turn from Old Airport Road, you end up doing a long circle, which happens to people all the time. Our office is at number 9. It’s not a huge place, just a few rooms filled with desks and a lot of wires. Most days it’s just the sound of keyboards and someone complaining about the slow internet. The service road gets really dusty in the summer. We leave the windows shut mostly because of the noise from the traffic going towards the airport. There’s a tea stall around the corner where we spend ten minutes every morning. It’s a simple setup. We deal with whatever comes through the door or the phone. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit there waiting for the backup to kick in. It’s not always exciting. We handle a lot of paperwork and digital stuff. The carpet in the lobby has a bit of a stain from a spilled coffee two years ago. Nobody bothers to fix it. We know where everything is and how things run. It’s our spot. We’ve been at this Domlur location for a good bit of time now. We see the planes taking off if we look out the top floor window. It reminds us we’re still right in the middle of everything. The security guard downstairs always asks for the cricket score.
