Giresh Store

You can find us at 484 on the 6th Cross Road. This is over in Vinayaka Nagar, specifically in the Ngo Colony part of Wilson Garden. It is a quiet residential area for the most part. The store is just a regular neighborhood spot. We have been here for years and we know just about everyone who walks through the door. We sell the usual things people need for their houses like soap and rice and snacks. The shelves are a bit crowded because we try to fit as much as possible in a small space. Sometimes it’s hard to find where we put the extra boxes of biscuits. My son helps out in the evenings when the office crowd comes back home. It gets busy then and the small aisle gets really packed. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. It’s just a plain shop with the essentials. The door squeaks a bit when you open it but we haven't gotten around to fixing that yet. Wilson Garden is a nice place to have a business because people are friendly. We usually sit on the stool out front when it’s quiet and watch the bikes go by. It’s a lot of work keeping things stocked up but it’s what we do. We stay open late most nights just in case someone forgot to buy milk for their tea in the morning. It’s a simple life and we are happy with how things are in our little corner.
