Gilbert Etienne Nursery And Primary School

Our school is located along Magadi Main Road, specifically in the Sunkadakatte area. If you know the Viswaneedam Post, we are right around there. Gilbert Etienne Nursery And Primary School has been here for a while now. The building is a standard one, nothing too flashy, with the classrooms lining the hallways. We get a lot of noise from the main road, especially when the heavy trucks go by, but the children don't seem to mind much. In the mornings, the gate is a busy place with parents on scooters and the local kids walking in. We have a small area where they gather for their morning routine before starting the lessons. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint in a few spots, but it’s a functional space. We spend most of our time making sure the benches are straight and the chalkboards are clean. During the monsoon, the road outside gets a bit muddy, so we have to be careful about tracking dirt inside. Our staff usually brings their own lunch and we sit together in the small break area. It’s a local school for local families, and we just focus on getting through the curriculum and making sure the kids are safe until their parents pick them up at the end of the day. It is just regular work, really. We don't have much of a front yard, so the building is right up against the edge of the property.
