Ghatge Patil Transport Ltd has an office tucked away at G/6 Rajajinagar 12th C Main Road. It’s in the 6th Block, right behind the Industrial Estate area. It makes sense for us to be here because of all the factories and warehouses nearby. There’s always a lot of heavy lifting going on in this part of town. The roads can get pretty narrow when the big trucks try to turn, especially near the estate gates. We’ve got a small space where the drivers come in to hand over their paperwork and get their next assignments. It’s usually quite loud outside with the sound of machinery and loading. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, chairs, and a lot of logbooks. We spend most of the day on the phone tracking where the loads have reached. It isn’t the quietest place to work, but we are used to the Rajajinagar bustle by now. Sometimes the rain makes the road messy, which slows everything down. We just keep the files organized as much as we can. It’s a practical kind of job. You move things from one place to another and hope the traffic isn't too bad. We’ve been in this 6th Block spot for a while, so most of the local loaders know us. It’s a basic office for a basic transport business. Nothing more than that really. Just everyday work keeping the goods moving from our Rajajinagar base.
