Genius Play School

Down at 18/1 on 9th Cross in RBI Layout, you’ll find Genius Play School. It’s a small operation, really. We focus on the little ones who are just starting out. The 7th Phase of JP Nagar is a good spot for us because there are plenty of families nearby. The school itself is just a regular house converted for the kids. It’s got that homey feel because it actually used to be a home. We have some toys scattered around and some colorful mats on the floor for them to sit on. It’s not a fancy institution with a massive playground or a swimming pool. We make do with the space we have. There’s a lot of noise during the day, mostly singing or kids just talking loudly, but the neighbors are used to it by now. We don't have a marketing department or a fancy website that someone updates every day. Most of what we do is just watching the kids and making sure they get picked up on time by their parents or the rickshaw drivers. The 560078 area is busy, but our little corner on 9th Cross stays relatively calm. We just keep things simple. If a kid scrapes a knee, we clean it up and move on. If they’re hungry, we make sure they eat their snacks from their lunchboxes. It’s just a basic play school for the neighborhood families who need a safe place for their toddlers.
