Genius Kids Play School

We are based at No. 42 on the 2nd Main in Vivekananda Colony. It's just off Kanakapura Road in JP Nagar. The play school is in a house that we converted into a space for kids. It feels more like a home than a school, which is nice for the little ones. We have a small front yard where we put a slide and some swings. The grass is a bit patchy because the kids run on it so much. Inside, the rooms are full of plastic bins with blocks and puzzles. There is usually some crayon marks on the lower parts of the walls, no matter how much we scrub. We spend our days managing a lot of energy. Some kids are very quiet, while others never stop moving. We have a routine for snacks and naps, though some days the kids just don't want to sleep. We hear the traffic from Kanakapura Road in the distance, but the colony itself is relatively quiet. We have a few staff members who have been here since we opened. We know all the parents and which kid belongs to which car. It’s a small operation. We don't have any big corporate backing. It’s just a local place where children can play and learn a few things before they start real school. We keep it simple and try to keep everyone happy and safe during the day.
