General Mills

General Mills is situated at No.854/6 on Mysore Road. We are right opposite the Quality Biscuits factory, which is a big help when people are trying to find the 3rd D Cross. You can often smell the baking when the wind blows the right way, which is a nice change from the usual exhaust fumes on the main road. Mysore Road is notoriously busy, especially with all the construction and the heavy trucks heading out of the city. Our spot is a bit back from the main noise but still gets its fair share of the action. The office is a practical space, mostly used for managing the distribution and keeping track of the inventory. We’ve got a small crew here, and we’ve been in this location for a good amount of time. The 3rd D Cross isn't very wide, so we have to be careful when moving things in and out so we don't block the neighbors. It’s a very industrial-feeling area, with lots of warehouses and manufacturing units all around us. We spend most of the day coordinating schedules and making sure everything is where it needs to be. It’s a lot of routine work, but it keeps us busy. We usually grab lunch from the local canteens around Mysore Road. It’s just a regular day-to-day business life in this part of the city. We have our coffee together in the morning before the real rush begins.
