About Gdipeta Primary School – Education in Bengaluru
We are over in Srinidhi Layout on the 8th Main road. It is a quiet residential part of Konanakunte, which makes it a nice spot for a primary school. Our building actually sits on two plots, No. 17 and 18, so we have a decent amount of room. Since our students are all quite small, the place gets very loud during the lunch break with all the shouting and running around. We have a handful of rooms that we use for the different classes. The walls are painted in bright colors because we thought it would make the atmosphere a bit more cheerful for the younger children. There is a small paved area out front where the school vans park. It gets a little bit crowded on the street when they all show up at the same time to drop off the kids. Most of our day is spent checking through notebooks and making sure everyone has their lunch and water bottles. The 8th Main is usually very still during the middle of the day, with only a few neighbors occasionally walking by. We have a small desk right near the main entrance where parents can come to talk to us if they have questions. It isn't a big office with fancy furniture; it’s just a simple room with a table and some chairs. Most of the staff live in the nearby streets, so they just walk over to work every morning. We have a steady routine of cleaning the boards and getting things ready for the next day. It’s a very simple, local way of doing things.
