We are located in the Malleshwaram Functional Estate, specifically Phase K in Udhyonagar. The shop is in the M N Complex on Road Number 6. It’s a bit of a maze back here with all the industrial sheds and warehouses, but we’ve been here long enough that everyone knows the spot. We have stacks of wood and rolls of fabric sitting around most of the time. The air is often thick with the smell of polish and sawdust. We don’t have a big showroom with bright lights, just the space we work in and where we keep the finished pieces. People come in to look at chairs or ask about getting a sofa fixed up. We spend a lot of time on the floor, measuring stuff and making sure everything fits right. It’s a noisy neighborhood with trucks loading and unloading nearby. Our complex is pretty old, so the walls have a few cracks and the paint is peeling in places, but it works for us. We start work when the sun comes up and usually stay until it’s dark. There’s a small stall nearby where we get our coffee. We don’t really do things the modern way with computers for everything; we still use a lot of handwritten notes and paper. It’s a solid place to spend the day. We have some heavy benches that have been here since we opened.
