Gayana Exports

Gayana Exports is situated at 681 on the Andheri Ghatkoper Link Road near the Chickpet area. It is a busy spot to be in because the Link Road is always jammed with cars and bikes trying to get across the city. Our building is right in the thick of it. We spend our days dealing with boxes and tape and checking lists. There is always a pile of packing material in the corner that we mean to tidy up but never quite do. It’s a lot of phone calls and writing down numbers on scraps of paper. The office is a bit small for all the things we handle, so we have to be careful not to trip over the crates. We have a small window that lets us see the traffic but we usually keep it closed because of the noise and the exhaust fumes. It’s a practical kind of place. We don't have fancy furniture or a big sign out front that lights up. Most of the people we work with have been our contacts for years so they know exactly where to find us. When it rains, the roof makes a lot of noise and we have to move some of the boxes away from the far wall just in case. It’s just us here, making sure the orders go out when they are supposed to. We don't do much marketing because the work keeps us busy enough.
