Nuthan Footware

Down here in Garbhavipalya, we’ve got Nuthan Footware set up. It’s a busy little area, and we fit right in with the other local shops around here. We deal with shoes and all sorts of things for people to wear on their feet. It’s a lot of manual work, moving heavy boxes and organizing different sizes throughout the day. The shop floor is usually a bit dusty because of the busy road right outside our door. We spend most of our time helping folks who walk in off the street looking for something specific for their kids or themselves. We don't have those fancy glass displays you see in the big shopping malls. Everything is just on simple shelves where you can reach it easily. The owner is usually around somewhere, maybe in the back room or talking to a delivery driver about a shipment. We’ve known most of our regular customers for years. They come in, chat for a bit about the weather, and see what’s new in stock. It’s a simple way to make a living, really. Garbhavipalya can be quite noisy during the middle of the day, but you get used to it after a while. We have a small fan that keeps the air moving, which is nice when it gets hot. Sometimes the stock takes up too much room, and we have to stack boxes pretty high. You learn to be careful walking through the narrow aisles. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just provide footwear to the community.
