Garaniya Primary School

Garaniya Primary School is over in the Rachenahalli area, specifically at No B-12 near the Srk Nagar Post. We are located right within the Manyata Residency locality. It’s a growing part of Bangalore, so we see a lot of new faces moving in. Our school is a primary one, focusing on the early years of a child's education. The building is a bit older than some of the new apartments around us, but it’s sturdy and serves us well. We have a small gate and a patch of ground where the kids can play during their breaks. Inside, the rooms are filled with charts and drawings made by the students. We don't have a huge staff, just a few dedicated teachers who have been doing this for years. Most of the kids walk here from the surrounding houses in the residency. It’s a safe area, which is good for the parents. We start our classes quite early to beat the afternoon heat. The curriculum is basic and follows the standard requirements. We don't use much technology, just books and chalk. It’s a very traditional way of teaching, but it seems to work for the families here. Sometimes we have a bit of a parking issue when parents come for meetings, but we manage. It’s just a steady, local school that has stayed the same while the neighborhood changed.
