We are over at 87 Manjunath Nagar right in the Dandia Bazar area. This place is usually stacked high with steel rods and plates because that is what we do. It’s a heavy business and we spend a lot of our time moving metal around the yard. The Dandia Bazar is a busy place and there are always people moving about which makes the street outside pretty lively. We have a small office tucked into the corner of the lot where we keep the invoices and the scales. It is not a place for sitting around in suits. We are usually wearing our work clothes and covered in a bit of rust or dust. People come here when they are building something and need a specific amount of steel. We weigh it out and help them load it up. It’s straightforward work without any complications. We don't have a website or any big marketing plans. Most of our customers are locals or builders who have been coming to us for years because they know where we are. Some days the yard is so full we can barely move and other days we are waiting for a shipment to arrive from the factory. We just take it as it comes. It is a lot of heavy lifting and sweating under the sun but it is good to see the steel going out to be used in new buildings around the city. We just stay focused on the weight.
