Ganga Light House

You can find Ganga Light House over at No.30/1 on 11th Cross in Vyalikaval. We are right near the Vayallikaval Police Station and the Muneeshwara Temple, so it is a pretty easy spot to locate if you are in the neighborhood. Our shop is packed with all kinds of electrical stuff. We have rows of bulbs, different lengths of wire, and all sorts of switches and sockets piled up on the shelves. It’s the kind of place where you might have to move a box to see what’s behind it. We have been in Bangalore for a good while, and Vyalikaval has that old-school feel that we really like. Most of our customers are locals who just need a fuse fixed or are looking for a specific kind of light for their home. We spend our days testing bulbs and helping people figure out what kind of wiring they need. It is practical work. Sometimes the shop feels a bit small when we get a big shipment in, and we have to stack things right up to the ceiling. We know most of the regulars by name. It is nice being near the temple because there is always something going on outside. We don't do any big advertising. We just keep the door open and help whoever walks in with their electrical problems. It is just a regular shop run by regular people who know a thing or two about lights.
