You can find G T Furnishers at 38 Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar, right near Ambedkar Medical College. Being so close to the college, we see a lot of students and staff walking by every day. The shop is filled with various pieces of furniture, and sometimes it's hard to walk between the sofas and tables without bumping into something. We have been in this spot for a while now, and we know the local residents pretty well. It’s a straightforward setup. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone telling us how to decorate the place. We just put the furniture out so people can see the wood and feel the fabric. Sometimes the delivery truck gets stuck in the narrow lane, and we all have to go out and help move things. It’s just part of the daily routine here in RT Nagar. We talk to people about what size bed will fit in their room or which chairs are the most comfortable for a dining table. We aren't trying to be a high-end boutique. We just want to provide chairs and cupboards that stay together and don't wobble. If you are looking for something for your house and you're in the neighborhood, you can just drop in. There is usually someone around to answer questions, though we might be in the back moving some heavy wardrobes around when you arrive.
