G M Logistics

G M Logistics is based at 16 J C Nagar, which is very close to St Johns Church. If you are in the area, you can probably hear the church bells from our front door during the day. This part of JC Nagar is always humming with activity, which suits a logistics business just fine. Our space is more of a warehouse and a small office combined into one. There are always stacks of wooden pallets and cardboard boxes lying around everywhere. It is not a very pretty place to look at, but it is functional for what we do. We handle a lot of local distribution and moving goods from one point to another. The team is small, just a few drivers and some guys who help with the loading and unloading. We spend a lot of our day on the phone coordinating where the trucks are and when they will arrive at their destination. It can be quite stressful when there is a delay in traffic, which happens a lot around this part of the city. We don't have a fancy corporate identity or a polished front office for visitors. It is just a place where work gets done. Most of the floor is covered in packing tape and permanent markers. We have been at this address for several years and know the other owners on the street. It is a practical operation where we focus on getting the crates moved and the paperwork signed off so everyone can get on with their day.
