G L Bhagi Girls Paying Guest

This is a girls' paying guest accommodation located at 31 Ramamurthy Nagar on Oil Mill Road. We are in the Arvind Nagar section, right behind the police station. It’s a good spot to be because having the station so close makes everyone feel a bit more at ease. We’ve been here for a while now, looking after the girls who come from different parts of the country to work or study in the city. The house is usually full of chatter and the smell of whatever is cooking in the kitchen. We provide basic rooms with enough space for a bed and a cupboard. It’s nothing like the fancy apartments you see in magazines, but it’s a roof over their heads and a safe place to stay. We have a routine for when the gates close and when meals are served. It helps keep things orderly. Sometimes the internet is slow or a tap starts leaking, but we get someone to look at it as soon as we can. Our days are mostly spent managing the groceries, paying the bills, and making sure the common areas stay somewhat tidy. It’s a lot of responsibility looking after so many young women, but we take it one day at a time. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, except for the occasional siren from the station. We’re just a local family trying to provide a decent place for people to live while they are away from home.
