G K Computer

Our shop, G K Computer, is located at 413 in the 6th Block of Rajajinagar. It’s a small space, and mostly it’s just filled with old monitors, cables, and towers that people have brought in for us to look at. We’ve been in this block for quite a few years now. The shop is usually a bit of a mess because there are always parts lying around and screws that we’ve taken out of laptops. We don’t have a big sales floor or a team of technicians in lab coats. It’s just us sitting at the workbench with our soldering irons and screwdrivers. Most of our day is spent trying to figure out why a machine won't turn on or helping someone get their printer working again. We get a lot of locals walking in with their computers wrapped in towels or carried in plastic bags. We talk to them about what happened, and then we see what we can do to fix it. Sometimes we can't find the parts and have to wait for a delivery, which can take a few days. We aren't a big chain store, so we know most of our customers by name. We just enjoy working with our hands and solving the puzzles that these machines give us. It’s quiet work for the most part, except for the sound of the cooling fans and the occasional beep from a motherboard.
