Futhuraa Furnitures & Interiors is located over in Basavanagudi at Gulab Niketan. We are in the Bhatti Pada area inside Maruthi Plaza, which is quite close to National College. If you’ve ever walked past that way, you’ve probably seen the college students heading to class. Our shop is where we handle all the wood and interior work. It is often a bit dusty inside because of the cutting and sanding, but that is just part of the job. We have different furniture pieces around, some finished and some just starting to take shape. Basavanagudi is a nice, older part of the city, and being in Maruthi Plaza means we get a lot of local foot traffic. People come in looking for a new cupboard or maybe they want to fix up their kitchen. We aren't a big showroom with bright lights and salesmen in ties. It is more of a workshop feel where you can actually see what is happening. Sometimes we are busy with a big order and the whole place is a mess of tools and sawdust. We just like making things that people can use in their homes. It is a steady life here near the college. We’ve been at this address for a while and we know the neighborhood pretty well by now. It’s just a normal shop doing normal work for regular people.
