We are over at 205 Banaswadi, which is right by the Forward Stationery Mart. If you are looking for us, just find the Badini Restaurant because we are very close to that. You can usually smell whatever they are cooking next door, especially during the lunch hour when it gets really hungry in here. The shop itself is filled with different kinds of wooden chairs, tables, and some cupboards. We don't have a massive showroom, so things are tucked in pretty close to each other. You have to walk carefully between the sofa sets so you don't bump your shins. The floor is concrete and we try to keep the sawdust swept up, but it always seems to come back from somewhere. People stop in after they finish their shopping at the stationery store or after they eat. We spend a lot of time moving things around to show people the different pieces. Sometimes a delivery truck comes and we have to clear a path out to the street, which is always busy with people and scooters. It’s a bit of a lived-in space, and the lighting isn't the brightest, but you can see the wood grain well enough. We just stay here most of the day, talking to neighbors and waiting for someone who needs a new bed frame or a desk for their house. It’s a steady kind of life here in Banaswadi.
