Our place is at 61-A Subramanyapura on P L Lokhande Marg. It is an area that has quite a lot of small industries and busy workshops. We work with furniture, mostly handling the assembly and the various materials that go into making items for people's homes. The space is often filled with the smell of wood glue and the sound of hammers hitting nails. We aren't a big factory or a fancy brand; it is more of a hands-on local operation. We spend our mornings checking the inventory and seeing which pieces need to be worked on next. The street outside, P L Lokhande Marg, can get quite congested with delivery vans and trucks. We have a small area in the back where we keep the finished pieces before they are sent out to customers. We don't have a polished catalog or a website. Usually, people just come by the shop and see what we are currently working on or bring a simple design they want us to look at. We try to be honest about how long it actually takes to make something. Good work shouldn't be rushed too much. Most of the time we end the day covered in a bit of dust or paint. It is just a regular day of physical labor for us. We have stayed in Subramanyapura because we know the local suppliers well. (246 words)
