Friend Association

Friend Association is located in Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar, over in Sector 8 at C 765. It is a quiet residential part of the city, which suits us just fine. We have a small office space that we use for our meetings and to keep our records. It isn't a big operation, just a few of us who have been around for a long time. The room is filled with old wooden chairs and a large table where we sit and talk about whatever needs doing. We have a big window that looks out onto the street, so we see the neighbors walking their dogs or kids coming home from school. We don't really do much marketing or anything like that. People usually find out about us through word of mouth or by just walking past the door. We spend a lot of time drinking tea and looking over papers. The office is a bit cluttered with stacks of flyers and old newspapers, but we know where everything is. Sometimes the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound that we keep meaning to fix, but we've gotten used to it by now. We have an old calendar on the wall that is still from last year because nobody bothered to change it. Sometimes we host small gatherings where we serve snacks like samosas and talk about local neighborhood issues. It’s not a fancy office, just a place to get together. We are usually here from ten in the morning until five.
