Down here at Whitefield 3rd Cross, things stay pretty loud with the sound of engines and tools clanking all day. We are located at 88/16 in the 2nd Phase area. It’s a typical garage setup, plenty of oil on the floor and cars lined up waiting for their turn. We spend a lot of time under hoods or squeezed into tight spaces checking brakes and engines. Whitefield has grown so much, and the roads are tough on cars, so we see a lot of suspension work and tire issues. It’s mostly local folks who bring their vehicles in. We’ve got a couple of good mechanics who have been doing this since they were kids. It’s not the cleanest job, but there’s a certain rhythm to it that feels right. We don’t have a waiting room with a TV or anything like that; people usually just leave their keys and head to work or grab a coffee nearby. Some days we're working on old hatchbacks, and other days it's something a bit newer and more complicated with all the sensors. We try to be honest about what needs fixing now and what can wait a few months. The afternoon heat can get pretty intense in the workshop, so we take our breaks when we can. It’s just how it goes when you’re working with your hands. We’ve been in this spot for a good while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit around us. It’s hard work, but someone has to do it to keep people on the road.
