Sri Kanaka Motors

If you walk down Killari Road toward Cqal Layout 12, you will find our garage. Sri Kanaka Motors has been sitting here for a good long time. It is a messy place, to be honest, with oil stains on the floor and tools scattered across the benches. We spend our days under car hoods or lying on crawl boards checking engines. It gets hot in the afternoon, and the smell of grease and petrol is something you just get used to. We have a couple of guys who are good with their hands and don't mind getting dirty. Killari Road is always packed with people moving stuff, so there is never a quiet moment. We usually have three or four cars parked inside and maybe a couple more waiting out front. The office is just a small corner with a table and a few old stools where people sit while we tell them what’s wrong with their vehicle. We don’t go in for anything flashy. We just fix what needs fixing and move on to the next job. There is an old radio that plays local stations in the background, but you can barely hear it over the sound of the wrenches and the traffic outside. It is hard work, especially in the summer, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Most of the people around here know us by name now. We just handle the repairs and try to stay organized.
