Shree Durga Automobiles

Shree Durga Automobiles is situated right on J C Road in Cubbonpet. We are at number 21. If you know this area, you know how packed and loud it gets with all the vehicle parts and traffic. Our shop is tucked in there among all the others. We have been working out of this small space for a long time. There is usually a lot of dust from the road and grease on the counters because that is just the nature of the work. We keep a lot of different parts piled up on the shelves. Sometimes it looks like a mess to someone coming in for the first time, but we generally know where everything is kept. It’s a family-run thing, mostly just me and a couple of helpers. We don't have air conditioning or fancy chairs for people to sit on while they wait. People usually just stand around or talk to the neighbors while we look for what they need. The lighting inside isn't the greatest, especially towards the back of the shop where the older stock stays. We open up early in the morning when the shutters on the street start going up. It’s a busy life on J C Road and we are just a small part of that whole scene. We do our work, talk to the regular mechanics who come by, and go home when the sun goes down. It is honest work and it keeps us busy most days of the week.
