Our shop is over in Prakash Nagar, at 1648 Garodia Nagar. It is a standard auto repair garage. As soon as you get near the place, you can hear the sound of air wrenches and engines being revved up. We have a few work bays where we handle all kinds of car repairs. There is always a bit of oil or grease on the floor, no matter how many times we try to clean it up. That is just how a garage is. We work on all sorts of vehicles, from old beat-up cars to some of the newer ones on the road. It is a small team of us here. Most of us have worked together for a long time. Sometimes we have cars lined up outside because we are waiting for parts to be delivered. The street is quite busy, so managing the space is always a bit of a puzzle. We don't have a fancy air-conditioned waiting room with a television. There are just a few plastic chairs near the desk and a water cooler if you’re thirsty. People come to us because they know us from the neighborhood. We don't always rely on those expensive computers to tell us what is wrong; sometimes you just have to listen to how the engine is running. It is honest, hard work. We get dirty, we fix the problems, and then we go home. It’s just a regular garage doing regular work.
