Food For Thought Restaurant

Food For Thought Restaurant is based inside the International Tech Park in Whitefield. The pincode here is 560066. Being located inside a tech park means our daily life is basically governed by the office clock. Between 1 PM and 2 PM, the place gets absolutely crazy with the lunch crowd. Then it suddenly gets very quiet for a few hours. We see a lot of people walking around with their ID cards hanging around their necks. Most of them look like they really need a break from their computer screens. We try to provide that break. We don't have a corporate vibe at all, even though we are surrounded by these huge glass buildings. Our kitchen is small and we have to be very efficient to handle the peak hours. The rent in Whitefield is not cheap, so we have to stay busy to keep things going. We don't really spend any money on advertising. People just find us while they are walking to their offices or going for a meeting. We have a few plants near the entrance that we sometimes forget to water. The staff is mostly young guys who moved here from other towns. We all try to eat together before the big lunch rush starts. Bangalore traffic makes getting our daily supplies on time a real challenge. We don't have a mission statement. We just serve food to people who are working hard.
