Flow Fabricaters

Our shop, Flow Fabricaters, is over in Manjunath Nagar, specifically at Kudalwadi 167. It’s a busy industrial pocket where you can always hear the sound of someone grinding metal or a truck backing up. We’ve been operating from this same spot for a while now. The space isn’t very big, and it’s usually covered in a thin layer of iron dust, but that’s just the nature of fabrication work. We spend most of our hours welding and cutting pieces to size. It’s a lot of manual labor and standing on your feet all day. The heat from the torches makes the shop quite warm, especially during the afternoons when the sun hits the metal roof. We usually have a radio playing somewhere in the back to drown out the noise of the street. Local people and small contractors are our main visitors. They usually come in with a sketch on a piece of paper and we see what we can do for them. We don't have a front office or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll likely find us in our work clothes with grease on our hands. We try to get the orders out as fast as we can, but some days the electricity plays tricks on us. It’s just a normal workshop trying to keep up with the daily grind. We like it here in Kudalwadi despite the noise and the traffic. It's just a regular place for regular work.
