Five Star Mutton Shop

This shop is right in the Ganesh Market over in Koramangala. We’re at number S/19 on the 80ft Road in the 5th Block, near the KHB Colony. It’s a busy spot, especially on weekends when everyone wants meat for their Sunday lunch. I’ve been cutting meat here for a long time. It gets messy, but that's the business. We get our mutton early in the morning. People come in and ask for specific cuts, and I do my best to get it right. It’s loud in the market, lots of shouting and traffic. The shop is small, just enough room for the counter and the chopping blocks. We don't have fancy signs. Sometimes the floor gets a bit slippery, so you have to watch your step. I have a couple of guys helping me out when it gets crowded. We know most of the families around here. They’ve been coming to us since they were kids. It’s hard work, standing all day, but it’s what we do. The 80ft Road is always jammed with cars. If you come late, the good stuff is usually gone. We try to keep the knives sharp. It's just a regular butcher shop. No frills. We close up when the meat runs out. If you're in the KHB Colony area, you've probably seen us near the corner. We don't do deliveries, you just have to come down yourself. The market is always a bit chaotic but we like it. It feels like home to us after all these years.
