Fichtner India is situated at 301 Koramangala. The address also mentions Andheri Kurla Road and Indraprastha Equinox, which makes it sound like we’re in two places at once, but we are right here at the Equinox building. Koramangala is a busy hub, and being in a building like Indraprastha Equinox gives us a bit of a professional corner in a very crowded city. Even though the building is modern, our own office feels very much like a workplace. There are stacks of drawings, technical manuals, and coffee mugs scattered around. We spend a lot of time looking at plans and calculations. It’s the kind of work that requires a lot of sitting and thinking, so it can be pretty quiet inside compared to the traffic outside on the Kurla road. We have a few windows that look out over the street, and it’s always interesting to see the city moving below us. We aren't really the type to use big words or try to sound more important than we are. We just handle engineering and consultancy stuff. Most of us have been in this field for a long time, so we’ve seen a lot of projects come and go. We just come in, do the technical bits, and try to make sure everything adds up correctly. It’s a steady kind of life here, focused on the details that most people don't see. Sometimes we have long days where we just stare at blueprints until our eyes get tired. We keep the air conditioning on low and just keep working through the folders on our desks.
