Fernandes Road Carriers

We have our yard for Fernandes Road Carriers at B-133 in Yeshwantpur. It is right across the way from Kanteerva Studio, so that is usually how people find us. The area stays pretty loud because of all the trucks coming in and out of the Dduttl section. We spend most of our time on the phone or looking at clipboards. Transporting goods isn't always smooth, and there is usually some kind of delay with the weather or the roads that we have to deal with. Our office is a simple room with a couple of fans that don't always work as well as they should. We keep a lot of records on paper because it just feels easier than trusting a computer for everything. The drivers come in and out at all hours, so someone is almost always around to unlock the gate. It is a bit of a rough-and-ready kind of place, but it works for what we do. We have been in this part of Yeshwantpur for a good amount of time and know the local shortcuts. It’s mostly just about making sure the loads get to where they are supposed to be without too much fuss. We don't have any shiny signs or anything, just the gate and the trucks. Sometimes we sit outside on the plastic chairs when the weather is decent. It’s a simple operation and we just try to get the work done right.
