Featherlite

The showroom is over at 16/A Millers Road in Vasanth Nagar. It is pretty easy to find since we are right next to Ambedkar Bhavan. If you know that landmark, you know where we are. Inside, it is basically just rows and rows of chairs and desks. We spend a lot of time moving things around to make more space. Vasanth Nagar gets really busy during the day, so parking can be a bit of a headache for everyone. We have been in this spot for a long time and we have seen the street change quite a bit. It is mostly a lot of walking around and showing people how different office chairs feel. Some are soft and some are firm. We don't really do the big sales pitches. We just let people sit down and see what they think. The lighting in the building is a bit bright, but it helps see the fabric colors clearly. We have a small staff here and we all know each other well. Sometimes it gets dusty because of the construction nearby, so we spend time wiping down the tables. It is a straightforward business and we just keep things moving every day. Being near the Bhavan means there is always a lot of foot traffic outside, which keeps the energy up even when we are tired from moving heavy furniture.
