Farsons

Farsons is located at 64/2 Lalbagh Road, right near H Siddiah Road. If you know Bangalore, you know how hectic this area gets. The traffic is almost always backed up, and the noise of the horns never really stops. We’ve grown used to it over the years. Our shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot into it. We spend most of the day behind the counter. It gets a bit dark in the back because the building is old and deep. We keep the lights on even when it’s sunny outside. People come in from the street looking for all sorts of things. We usually have what they need sitting on a shelf somewhere. It takes a while to learn where everything is. The floor is a bit uneven in places, but nobody seems to mind. We have a small fan that runs all day to keep the air moving. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten quickly between customers. We don't spend money on fancy signs or marketing. People just find us because we’ve been at this address for a long time. It’s a bit of a dusty job, but it keeps us busy. We like the rhythm of the street and the familiar faces that pass by every morning. It’s just a regular business in a very busy part of the city. We open the shutters and see what the day brings.
